What is my Motivation!!!

Monday, November 10, 2008

I have to say I am more motivated by being able to motivate others! Before joined SparkPeople I had lost 15 lbs now in addition I have lost 8 pounds emoticon
What motivates me?? A loving family I'd love to be around a lot longer to nag nag nag....
My health....being diagnosed a few years back with high blood pressure and just taking the pill was good enough. NOW recently, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Arthritis. Still what motivates ME?? After working out I am in more pain. I leave work at times in pain. So what in the world makes me do it?? A co-worker has lost 10lbs and began walking 3 times a week. My husband has just joined Spark People and worked out with me on Sunday for the FIRST TIME (WOW)!!! My kids exerise with me and make better food choices on their own. And they all say its all because of ME...ME??? Physically at times I hurt afterwards but spiritually and mentally there is nothing like feeling good after working out...after eating right. Goin to the doctor and your blood pressure is optimal and possibly lowering meds.
What Motivates Me.........Being able to be Full of Joy and Spirit and blinded by Faith. Being a motivation to others motivates me. I text my co workers in the morning randomly and say "don't forget the pedometer* or we'll walk around the building to boost up the numbers on the pedometer. Or my family when I go around saying ok ok let's go work up and I start clapping my hands and tickling them to get up let's gooooooo. So they ask... What Motivates me.....most just don't know ... It is them that Motivates Me.
*Therefore my brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord* (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Love God, Eat Right, Live Right and Walk Strong!!! WALK WALK WALK
