Still on track

Thursday, November 06, 2008

For those who follow my blog, I'm still on track. The good news is that I have kept up my walking. For at least 6 days out of each week, I have totalled 10,000 steps or more. 12,000 is my revised goal, and I mostly meet it. On the other hand, I haven't updated my map since early last week. I'll do it soon. I've been busy with work during the day, and extra tired at night, partly on account of staying up late a couple of nights ago to watch the election returns. I haven't quite caught up on my sleep yet.

It's interesting working in Washington D.C. in an election year. Yesterday, most of the people I passed in the street while out on my lunch time walk were having conversations about the U.S. Presidency. I caught many snatches of conversation in which the names of the Presidents of the last 30 years or so were mentioned.

Well, I'm off to try and catch up on my sleep again.

WOW! I love following your progress - so I look forward to the updated map to see how far you are now. I think it must be exciting to be in DC all of the time - so much of importance occurs there. Get some rest, my friend.
