Big Day for Me Today

Today I reached a milestone....I've lost 30 lbs. Wow, 30 lbs so far this year. That's a lot for me. Truthfully when I set out....I'm not sure I could actually "see" myself here. I was excited, set goals and thrilled that I made progress! Getting this far though is very exciting for me.
I've limited my white sugar and white flour intake. I've been drinking just water....and a protein shake a few times a week in the mornings.
I've been making healthier choices, staying positive, forgiving myself if I made a poor choice, quickly getting back to a routine when I do, choosing at times an indulgence and allowing myself to enjoy it when I do and choosing a healthier portion size, especially for dinner. I've also committed myself to exercising and finding a challenge when I hit a plateau.
