Morning Workouts Continue

Well, I am starting my third week of morning workouts and I continue to LOVE IT more and more with each passing day. I was one of those people that didn't think it was possible to wake up early and get my butt to the gym but I was WRONG and I am super excited about it still!!! I encourage anyone to give it a try for just a week and see how it works for you!

I had a wonderful weekend and went on a 6 mile hike with my daughter. We had a nice time and the view from the top was fabulous. I burned almost 1,000 calories which is great for me at my current weight. THat is one (and probably the only) thing I miss about being overweight. I used to work out and burn tons of calories but not so much any more. Feels like I have to work extra hard but I wouldn't change it!! =)

    What time are you getting up to do the workouts? I keep saying I am going to try to do that, but then I turn the alarm off and go back to sleep instead.

    Awesome, awesome! I wish that I could get to the gym in the mornings, but the daycare isn't open then. Since hubby isn't here, I still have to get my daughter ready for school. Morning workouts would be great! Good for you, girl!!!!!

    YAY!! I am on my 2nd day of AM workouts and I have to agree, they are actually not that bad! I'm proud of your energy and I hope this streak continues.

    It DOES sound like you had a wonderful weekend! I envy you being able to go and do like that. Once Matt and I buy our home in the city, it should be easier for me to find things to do.

    I may even take your advice on going for early morning workouts, because I fully intend on joining a gym once I'm moved!
