Set for needle biopsy

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

OK so I had yet another sonogram of a small area on my right breast and they see "something" so the biopsy will be done with those pictures on Tuesday October 21 at 9AM It is a much easier procedure. They use lightocain to numb the area and take tiny sample out. Whole thing done in 1 hour.

I am not afraid. I have taken the day off even though she said people go to work. I plan on meeting my husband for lunch

Thanks to all who wrote about my job. I spent today doing more help with students which I like. My boss left today's newspaper on my desk, but I just brought it home. I plan on making sure I am seen "doing my job" even if I have to plan activity for when others are around.

I've had the fine needle aspirate(biopsy) and you really will feel fine when it's over. The lidocaine will numb the area and it only takes a minute. Please keep us posted on your results, eh?

Keep up all of your good work!

I had a biopsy a few years ago and it turned on to be nothing. I'm glad to see you are getting it done quickly. Put those worries to bed.

Ultrasounds pick up a lot of things that aren't tumors. Stay positive. We'll all be thinking about you.

I hope that everything turns out okay. My mom had that done as well... and hers was not anything to worry about. Hope the same goes for you. Keep us posted.
