For me, I think the thing that's worked is a major "attitude adjustment" that gives me a degree of acceptance.

I ACCEPT that there's no "magic bullet".

I ACCEPT that my journey will be slow, because my descent into this unhealthy state has been slow.

I ACCEPT that any small loss is a HUGE gain that takes me one step closer to my goal.

I ACCEPT that, this time, it must be a way of life and not just a detour.

I ACCEPT that I will fail at times, but that I have the ability to turn that failure into a lesson learned and, eventually, a success.

I ACCEPT the offers of help and support that I find here in abundance.

I ACCEPT that , ultimately, it's up to me and nobody can do it for me.

I ACCEPT that I am NOT deprived, but rather I'm PRIVILEDGED to have the opportunity to find the tools and information I need to get me where I want to go right here at no cost other than taking the time to use them.

I ACCEPT that this is the way it is...and this is the way it's going to be from now on.

I ACCEPT that, when I reach my goal I will NOT look like a twenty-year-old Bikini Babe because I'm NOT twenty years old and I wasn't a Bikini Babe when I WAS twenty years old!

In other words, the motivation you seek is all right there within yourself. You simply have to allow yourself to find it.

Laughing all the way,
