Slippery slope

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

I made low calorie oatmeal cookies the other day for a carry-in at work. They were yummy, too yummy! Low cal doesn't matter when u eat 20 of them! At first I felt kind of bad about it. But it didn't send my calories for the day over. After I had time to think about it, I realized that I spent 36 years developing my old eating habits. Those aren't going to go away in 3 weeks. I'm still prone to over eating those sugary snacks that I love. Next time I'll leave the cookies at work and not take the left overs home with me! My weight loss has slowed down, which I knew it would. But I did lose another inch around my middle! I'm determined to stay positive and be my own cheerleader! emoticon

    Go! Go! Go!

Way to remain positive! We all slip on that slope. I'm still finding the right footing myself! Congrats on the inch - consider the cookies your reward for a job well done!
