I really need some help, tips, advice, encouragement....you name it. We're not talking about a small bag now and then or even a small bag daily, we're talking handfulls, daily! I can't seem to stop.

    Am m&m idea.
Do you have a convienence store nearby that you and Michael could walk to for the m&ms? Then they're not in the house in the Costco size bag calling you, if you partake with Michael you've worked for them, and maybe on some days he would choose not to go get them, and the temptation wouldn't be there.

Or... could your DH keep the m&ms and have that be "his" thing with Michael, he hides them, or keeps them in the car and again, out of sight, and reach, not so easy to overindulge in.

I get the M&m thing, I had some in place of dinner a couple of weeks ago. Kept the calories under 1500, but not the best choice for my nutrition.

I am bold offering advice including DH, I let mine "have it" last night because he bought decafinated Diet Coke in an effort to "help me" w/out consulting me first. May be cutting back that Diet coke is an idea who's time has come.

Don't forget to log it the sweets and remember how much more you will have to exercise...the proof is in the calories. That helps me...but, I just began. emoticon

If your will power is challenged it is best not to have these culprits in the house at all (even if your intentions are to treat your son, he can do better with healthier treats/snacks such as fruit and veggies). Out of sight out of mind works best. If your addiction needs an uncontrollable fix, take a walk to the store and buy the individual portion, plus punish yourself with more exercise.

Don't make it so hard for yourself. throw them away! get them out of the house! Don't look at the candy isle in the grocery store. you can do it!

You have done fantastic so far! You're over half way to your goal ~ you just can't let M&M's or anything take that from you! When I need a chocolate fix I make a bag of Orville Reddenboker reduced fat microwave Kettle Corn and then 1 tbsp of dark chocolate chips into the bag. It works wonders! You get your chocolate and sweet fix all at the same time ~ the kettle corn is nice and sweet! You can't let that ticker go backwards!

look at all the hard work you did. you have lost 51 lbs, accourding to your scale slider.
remember all the hard work you went through. the sweat, maybe a tear or two. the struggles you have been through.remember how good it felt when you dropped all that extra weight?not only emotionally but physically! how your hips and ankles and knees felt?

now remember how you felt before you dropped that rather large bag of dog food?maybe didnot move very well, maybe short of breathe.maybe your joints ached? do you really want to go back there. do you really want to put on that 5 lbs you worked so hard to get off, just to work it off again!!

drop the sweets! keep it to a serving, clean your mouth with mouth wash, chew on some gum, do an extra workout.
you know you didnot come all this way just to do it again.
