Fall

Thursday, October 09, 2008

Well it is certainly fall in MT. This morning it was 25 and the wind chill was probably about 10. I think walking to work is over until spring. Darn. It was so nice not to spend the money for gas, at least it is down around the national average which doesn't happen much up here. I will now have to go and buy a pass to our civic center, closes thing we have to a gym in this town.

I am not sure of the machines so I hope some one is there it let me know how to use them, I know I need to start getting in to the strength training.

Some of my dad's friends even notice my weight lose, when will I. The scale just doesn't move. I have only lost 10 pounds since March but everyone thinks it is a lot more. I wish the scale and the measurements would show the improvement.

My Dad leaves for the south the beginning of the month so there goes my walking buddy for after work. He is actually starting to like it. Now I just have to hope that he will kept at it once he is in AZ. He promises to go to the Y down there so I hope he keeps his promises.

Off to see my sister this weekend for Columbus Day that us bankers get off. Have to get some new tops and a new heavy coat. My sister stole the one I got last year since she didn't have one. She just moved up from AZ.

I have got to get my focus back on me and my weight loss and not to worry about every one else.

Sure do miss Montana but Alaska keeps us from being too homesick. We are still waiting to get our gas prices near the national average. That will definitely be nice. Hope your civic center has lots of goodies for ya.

    Good luck and take care!
