Think inches not pounds

Wednesday, October 08, 2008

This year has not been a good weight loss for me. In the last 2 yrs I have lost over 190lbs this year not the case. Weight loss was not there like it has been. But learning about my body has been an educational one. Even though I havent lost a significant amount of weight this year I have dropped 2 sizes this year and I am now in a size 16-18 from a size 20-22 and I couldnt be happier. I have not been in these sizes since high school.

So I have to ask myself whats more important inches or the pounds? Neither one because my body is in the best shape it has ever been. I have all kinds of energy and I love my strength training workout and my boxing workouts. Both these workouts have sculpted and strengthened my body to the point where I have muscles and definition that I never thought I could obtain.

I have come to the conclusion that the body is going to do what its going to do all I need to do is to continue what Im doing eating healthy working out and most of all be paitient with my body and myself to achieve the goal of 130lbs and believe me I will get there.
