Mmmm Mmmm Better!

So tonight I tried the Healthy Request Chicken Noodle...with trepidation after last night's Healthy Request gone wrong! However, I was quite pleased! I threw in a can of black beans to get some protein and fiber...and a dash of cumin and chili powder to give it a spicy flare. Ahhhh. That was good.
So um, I've lost 21 lbs so far, no kidding! And six inches from my waist in the last month? That doesn't seem right...and if it were my hips I would chalk it up to not putting the tape in the same place. But my waist is not as hard to be consistent with the measuring because, well, it's my waist. I feel like I'm in this weird place of being happy about the progress and at the same time just wanting to fast forward through the next few months. Even at 2-3 lbs a week it just feels like forever, you know? I started this thing having to lose 222 lbs. I'm almost 10% of the way there and that's great, but still so long to go.
I knew it wouldn't be easy...but you know what? It hasn't been that hard either. It's like I just had to flip this switch in my brain. I just hope the power stays on for the rest of my life.
