South Beach - Week One (-5.2 pounds)

Yesterday marked the end of week one of the South Beach diet George and I started. I am happy with the results: 5.2 pounds lost. George lost around 8, I think.

I have been going through quite a few health issues lately and I've only made it to the gym one time this last week. I found out this morning my blood pressure is up. So, she put me on a bp medicine and some other things for my headaches. Grr...I hate taking medicines. I am hoping the bp meds are just temporary, though!

I guess today was filled with emotional eating, so I haven't done so well today - but recognizing what it is and putting a stop to it now! I really do want to get this weight off of me! I know what it is doing to my body and I want it off of me!
