I made it 3.5 miles

Yesterday, I ran my highest mileage yet: 3.5 miles. I did this without stopping, which was my overall goal. I also wanted to try and slow my pace down. Instead of getting to the 16+ min/mile I was aiming for, I averaged a 15:29 min/mile. This is the third run in a row that I've managed a 15.5 min/mile. It's a comfortable enough pace, though some times I feel like my running is sluggish. I completed my run in 55:28. It's nice to know that I can run for that duration.

HRM stats: avg HR- 161, max HR- 174, .34g fat burned, 652 kCal burned, 84% target range, I was above training zone the entire time.

We were going to walk the "Walk for Hope" 5K this morning, but we chose not to due to inclement weather. Other than that, we don't have any 5K's until 10/11, when we are considering going down to do the Baltimore 5K in Maryland.

    That is something to be very proud of! :) It's an accomplishment to make it 3.5 miles, its an even bigger accomplishment to have ran the whole 3.5 miles.. so ROCK ON! emoticon
