Teaching, fasting, and really not sleeping.

This week has been a blur. I was teaching most of the week on on of my favorite subjects: Praise and Worship. It was incredible and I had a blast. Two days were mission days of fasting and I managed to do it, but was blown away at how tired I was. I would get home after teaching and just crash until we ate our first meal.
I didn't lose any weight this week, but I know that fasting is not really for the purpose of losing weight, but for getting spiritually fit. I didn't work out like usual because of the fast.
Yesterday, I took 60 blood pressures of the Bible College students right after I finished teaching. It was a good thing, because there were a few with high blood pressure that I told needed to really follow up with a doctor.
I start teaching the book of Galatians next week, so I will be busy again, but I love the book of Galatians, so I will find it fun.
Sleeping was not at it's zenith this week. Teaching stressed out my legs. I had lots of pain during the night which totally messed up my sleep. I slept 8 hours last night, so I am very happy.
My goals this week are:
1. To work out at least 4 days.
2. To go back to eating for frequently. Smaller meals- but more frequently.
3. To not let the stress of the finances of the mission get to me. That is the hardest one. I am the accountant. I am not responsible to get the money to come in. I take to much of that stress personally and then I eat more than I should, which is why I keep fluctuating on my scale by 2 pounds.
I will cast all my burdens on the Lord and I will give all my SP friends a great big hug today.
God bless you,
