Slow Down- Day 2

Today was the second time I tried to run my pace via my HR. I ran 2 miles and made every effort to stay at a slower jog, aiming to keep my HR between 135 and 155. My average HR was 148, my max was 163. Overall, not bad. My run time was 31:52, split time was 14:57 at the one mile point, and my pace was 15:28/mile. I was attempting to run slowly enough for a 16-ish min/mile, but I'm not truly convinced I have it in me to run that slow. I -walk- faster than a 16 min/mile.

Other stats of the day: .17g fat burned, 315kcal burned, 77% training range. I was In zone 2 minutes, below zone 14 seconds, and above zone for 29 minutes. I'm getting to the point that I think the only way I can train "in zone" is if I run on a treadmill. Or maybe I'm just not understanding the concept of training "in zone."
