A day without spark? Never a good thing!

Thursday, September 25, 2008

Yes, for some reason, I could not get in all day yesterday. I have mentioned before that with such a crazy life that I am leading right now that spark is my lifeline of encouragement and well, a bit of sanity in my crazy world. Spark is what reminds me to take care of me, you know? I have that shred of time out of my day that tells to to go for it, and while I am working on everything else in life, building a better me is always priority. When I could not access the site, that was quite a reminder to me. With that said, I guess that is a good thing. I am more determined than ever to finish out this year meeting my goal of 1# a week, it is all about the focus, that I know. Now I just have to remember to keep putting it into practice!

Hey, I will take time to send you a spark mail tomorrow. I am just beat tonight! My 2 year old has been very sick and that makes for a lot of work and lots of cuddling!

Hey girl, this journey is not an easy one and you have to take things one day at a time. I'm glad that we are a little bit of sanity for you to keep pushing forward to reach your goal. A pound a week is an achievable goal. It's a healthy goal because slow and easy is the way.

My sister always used to keep a zip lock bag of healthy treats in her book bag. Apples, Pears, Grapes, Crackers, Carrots, etc. This way where ever she was, which normally wasn't home she'll be able to munch on something healthy. I always loved her for that because she's always been the healthy one in the family.
