Back to the real world...

Well, it's Monday. That means back to work.
I found out today though that my volunteer was approved, so starting next week I'll have some help on my no plan days. That will be nice. We are starting printmaking in a few of the grades and I can always use all the help I can get with printmaking.
Overall it was an okay weekend. Saturday I was sick for most of the day; the first fever I'd had in over 5 years. I was nauseated, dizzy, couldn't stand up...FREEZING cold. It was gross. But almost as quickly as it came on it was gone. I took a lot of naps, relaxed, watched movies and cuddled with my animals. That made me feel a lot better.
Sunday morning I woke up just fine again, as if nothing had happened. It felt, though, like I had gotten cheated out of a weekend, since the first day of the weekend I can barely remember. But oh well. Que sera sera. Sunday was a good day, though. Husband and I finished the podcast for our weight loss group, and it turned out awesomely. That took pretty much all day, though. But we did clean and I went grocery shopping.
Now it's Monday. Luckily today I have a plan time (which I am using to write this blog when I SHOULD be getting ready for my afternoon classes) so it's not a total loss. And I just found out that I got a raise, so that's nice. It's not much, but it's $80 per month that we didn't have last month. And next week is a 4 day week. So if I can make it through this week, it's downhill for the next two.
