First 5 Mile Run -- Finally

Well, I hadn't run five miles yet. I scraped my knee a few weeks back when I was going for my five mile run and then I got caught up in tree climbing, so I never tried it.
So, it was just kind of hanging there. And honestly, I was running a lot less than I had been, but I kept getting faster anyway which I think is awesome.
Still, I wanted to finally get that five mile run in, so tonight when I was leaving work, I thought, "Why not tonight?" Running into work, I had run my fastest two mile run ever of 14:12 by over a minute, so I felt like I had improved enough that I shouldn't have to work to that mileage even though I hadn't run as far as four miles in a couple of weeks.
I felt like I had slipped last week by eating less healthy than before and having one day without any form of exercise at all. I didn't even walk that day, so I thought I was probably in for at least staying even, but I weighed myself and I had dropped nearly four pounds from before.
Of course, I had weighed myself right after breaking my record, so that felt energizing. And haven broken my previous personal best as well as the fact that I ran seven miles today including my first mile run makes me feel great.
My calfs are actually tight. That's the first time that's happened in a long time.
I think that it's interesting to note that my first five mile run time was at a faster pace than my first four mile run time. I think that I have a new record to achieve for that distance as well.
And I want to try doing some sprints at a track to see how fast I can sprint say 100 or 200 meters. Mostly just because I'm curious.
