New Years Challenge
Monday, September 08, 2008
So I'm a part of this New Years Weight Loss challenge, and one of the ladies posted a challenge to put up some "before" pictures from when the challenge starts, since we have 16 weeks together, we'd be able to see some progress in the pictures.
A few weeks ago, when I hit my halfway point, I had husband take some progress pictures of me so that I realized that I still had a long way to go. Yes, I know I've come a very long way, but I need to remember not to become complacent with what I've done thus far.
The pictures are in my photo gallery.
*From the back view, there is space between my sides and my arms! And I'm not even trying to do that!
*The hump on the back of my neck is diminishing. That thing was gross.
*I have clavicles!!!
*My stomach doesn't stick out further than my boobs anymore!
*NO DOUBLE CHIN!
*Posture supremely improved.
*I know you can't see it in these pictures but my legs are HOT. Totally toned, not an ounce of fat on them! Literally!
Things I know I still need to work on:
*Whats up with the back fat? I thought that was gone!
*Oh god help me with that butt.
*Want some BUTTER for those ROLLS?????
I'm aiming to lose 20 pounds by the end of this challenge. It's kind of a lofty goal, it averages to about 1.2 lbs per week or about 5 lbs per month, but with the holidays coming up, we'll see how that goes. I'll post pictures after that point, too!
