Happy Memorial Day!!

In an effort to mix things up a bit today, I've been rather domesticated.

I woke up, made breakfast for husband and myself (sausage mcmuffins!), then I baked some wheat bread in the breadmaker, and made a loaf of lowfat banana bread (who AM I?).

I helped husband with some work he has to do from home today for a freelance job.

Then I took Moxi for a walk.

Or more accurately, a run.

Yes, folks, I ran. Outside. Willingly. With nothing chasing me.

I didn't run the whole time, I probably could have endurance-wise, but I got a cramp in my side so I had to walk a bit. But in one stint, I ran .6 miles straight with no stopping. 5 whole minutes. That's pretty freaking incredible for me, since I don't think I've run more than one tenth of a mile in one stint before. And we have hills here. LOTS of hills. It felt good, though.

The rest of the day will be a little more on the relaxing side. A nice lunch at home. Time with husband (maybe some MST3K???) and then at 5 Shiver Shiver is coming over for some band work. All in all, a nice holiday.

Not wanting to go back to work tomorrow, though...

Hope you had a fun domesticated LABOR day ;=). The weather has taken quite a turn here today, it would be nice and cool for a jog though! Keep up the good work, Amy
