The date!

Saturday, August 30, 2008

We ended up going to a matinee showing of the movie and then had a senior citizen "dinner" at 430 or so.

The movie (Tropic Thunder) was freaking AWESOME. So hilarious. There was quite a bit of action though, we thought there would be more comedy than action. But so good. Would definitely recommend it.

Dinner was nice. We went early enough to get lunch portions (we're only 26, not 62), but I got my salad so I was happy. Taste's dinner salad is like the only salad I can honestly say I LOVE. I crave it. And I hate salad. Or veggies in general. I opted for lemon chicken piccata for dinner. It was delish. But a lot of food with the salad.

We went to Best Buy thinking that for my gift from his parents would be another season of Scrubs or The Office, or maybe a game for the Wii or DS or something. But I got a new bluetooth mouse for my computer!! The old mouse I had broke, so this one is super nice cause it doesn't even have that stupid dongle thing. It's all blue tooth baby! Pretty slick.

When we got home, I gave Johnny a haircut!! I finally got him to let me give him a buzzcut. Buzzcuts are like my WEAKNESS. I think they are so uber sexy. And let me tell you, just when I thought my husband couldn't get any sexier, he goes and does this, and wow. I love him. I kinda can't stop looking at him actually.

Yay! You both totally deserved the date. I'm glad you had fun, and I'm glad you got yourself a present.

P.S. Apparently, we even like the same TV shows.
P.P.S. Gregg cuts his hair in a buzz cut.
P.P.P.S. Is there any chance we could be sisters? *LOL*

Glad you had a good night (ok late afternoon, lol) out. Yes it was an Action Comedy, but not cheesey jokes with action. Was truely a great movie, unique.
