A NEW INSPIRATION

Reading the entry by Beugel regarding her courage to learn to swim was very inspiring to me. She didn't give up and that is something I don't want to do. I've done weight lifting off and on for years. Stopped for awhile and realized a year ago that I wasn't flexible and had problems doing simple core exercises. That was a wake up call to me and I've been working steadily to improve myself. It's not easy and sometimes it feels as though my body is fighting me but I'm learning more about taking care of myself, with Yoga, Qi Gong, weight lifting and swimming, I was never a strong swimmer but I've been working on it for a year and doing much better. Years of smoking have taken a toll on my lung capacity but I haven't smoked in more than 15 years.
As Beugel wrote,
Philippians 4:8 which says, "whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things."
A beautiful way to live.
