Bad enough,....

Ya, know losing weight is NOT easy!! It's dang hard. Not because of the physical challenge although that's a part of it. It's hard because you have to connect what you do everyday, to being able to reach your goals.

It's difficult to keep “losing weight” front and center when someone brings homemade mac and cheese to work (Come on people you're killin' me!!!). Or to remember your weight loss when it's 4AM and the bed is warm and the house is cold, not to mention the chill outside.

Ultimately it comes down to wanting to lose weight bad enough that you almost CAN'T forget it. Bad enough that the mac and cheese loses it's spell; bad enough that you work out with vigor and determination, because you know that is what will help you reach your goals - soreness be damned!!!!

Losing weight is NOT easy, but what in life that's worthwhile ever is?

    i so feel the same way. i just need to want it bad enough some days i do somedays i dont and that is what is frustrating to me. together we can do it.

    I know how you feel Kim and I agree with your mantra - I just have to want it BAD ENOUGH. Feel the strength of saying no to foods that end up on your hips, feel the strength of working out everyday even when your bed is cozy warm, feel the strength of standing before a mirror and loving the you you see in the reflection, feel the strength of those who love you cheering you on to success and a healthier you and life!! YOU ARE STRONG!!

    It sounds like you DO want it bad enough, Kim! Every single pound seems to cling like crazy, and it takes a whole lot of grit and determination to lose just one. And quite a few sore muscles! You keep working at it, because you are worth it!

    I think that you have proved that you want it bad enough, we all get side track every once in a while, trust me I would give blood sometimes for a hostess ding dong, and sometimes I can just walk away.

    I'm so proud of the progress & the commitment that you have made with your challenges, definitely an inspiration for me to keep working hard.

    isn't that how all of life is? don't you have to want anything bad enough to sweat, bleed, worry, obsess over it? Or is that just my neurotic self. Kim I htink you want it bad enough maybe it's just taking a bit of time for the rest of you to get the message.
