I know what my problem is and...

Tuesday, August 26, 2008

I know what my problem is and I ented to fix it. I set a goal for August to be good to myself. I needed to stop talking down about me becuase it only hurts me. I have been very successful, yeah I have a few slips but I will always correct myself and apologize for the comment - yes even if I made the comment to myself. Well my problem is that I have gained 2 pounds for the month of August and I know why. I have increased my cardio but my calories for the day decreased. I know this is bad bad and bad! I can tell I am losing inches but I just don't feel right. I am exhausted and hungry all the time. My goal for September is to stay with in my calorie range. I know now that with my positive self talks that I can now focus on my eating. I am still doing much better than when I first started SP but I am slowly slipping. I am going to increase those calories and get my fruits and veggies in and I am going to succeed. September is the month for me I can feel it. I am motivating myself to get on track and I am looking forward and NEVER back! I ALWAYS need encouragement and sometimes a good kick in bottom to stay focused. I can and I will do this!!!! emoticon

You CAN DO IT, woman! Believe me, I know EXACTLY what you mean about increased exercise. I don't eat enough when I train hard, and the scale shows me to eat more. Just readjust your current exercise level into the system and it will tell you how many calories to eat. YOU CAN DO THIS! I BELIEVE IN YOU! Shan, 1 Day Challenge Team Leader (P.S. I LOVE your Rosie pic. It made me smile!) Hugs!

yes... just make sure you don't eat too little! That is as bad for your body as eating too much is. Go to your start button and reset your goals with the current amount of exercise you do. Re-enter your goal and then it will recalculate your calorie amounts. If you need help, sparkmail me.

Nice job finding the problem and really nice job on finding a workable solution to it! Just make sure you give you yourself permission to goof it up somedays, don't get too down on yourself for not being perfect. You totally CAN do it though, and you might find that tis even easier to do it once you don't feel quite so tired and hungry all the time (at least I know I do)...
Any time you need a kick let me know!
