Trouble sleeping

Monday, August 11, 2008

Today is a lazy day... I'm deep in thought. My little one on the other computer. We will play scrabble before I pick up the older ones from their first day of school! Time flies and I'm stand by and watch it whiz past... I rode 14.14 miles Saturday morning! It was so nice to feel the wind on my face again. It's been years since I rode a bicycle! Wow, why did I wait so long?! So I did two things this year that I've wanted to do for a long time. The river rafting trip and now I'm going to bike ride as much as possible. Of course, I think it's the fear of the crazy idiot driver's that has kept me from it before. Seriously, do any of them ever think about being just a little considerate? Yikes! I'm always telling my kids to make eye contact before they cross the street and the same goes for me when turning a corner on the bike. The desert is hot but really clear the past few days. Makes you thankful you're not buried in smog! Red Rock Creek has camping in teepees we might try that one weekend soon! It looks like fun and isn't very far. I wanted to walk or bike today but no one wanted to join so here I sit typing and being lazy. I woke up so many times last night cause it was the first day of school and I didn't want to oversleep. You know, wake up with a jolt and look at the clock and think ugh! it's only 3am, got a while to go, fall back to sleep and wake up every half hour 'til it's really time to get up and feel wiped just from sleeping! ha Ahhh... the peace and quiet of my little dogs sleeping but the nagging sound of that voice in my head that says you could be pulling weeds or cleaning out the garage or exercising. But here I sit, writing to ... Okay, time to go... Enjoy every moment!! Be good to yourself! I've got to find some active peeps who need a challenge. Anyone out there??
