I did it!

I actually worked out on the "floor" at the gym today!. emoticon
I have been seriously working out since I joined the gym in April. I didn't work on the machines or free weights, I started participating in the BodyPump classes at my local gym. We use barbells and add weights as we get stronger. After 3 months I have become bored. I love the classes but after reading all of the excercise logs on these lovely spark pages, I felt that I was in kindergarten and I really want High School! emoticon

It felt really good and I can't wait to get back to the gym! I also did some HIIT on the treadmill too. I put the treadmill on a 3 incline, walked for 30 seconds at 3.4 rpms then upped it to 6 rpms for 30 seconds until I hit 15 minutes. THAT WAS HARD and I WAS SWEATING, A LOT! It felt great.

On a nutritional note, I don't think I know what I am doing. I feel like I am but I haven't seen any validation on my scale. I know I should throw away that scale but as a woman, I NEED TO SEE THE NUMBERS GO DOWN!!!!!!
emoticon Is that too much to ask? The fitness instructor said that she sees changes in my shoulders, arms and calves. I don't see it but maybe because I see myself everyday, I don't see the changes. I have taken pictures but I don't see it there either. I am going to take pictures tomorrow. I think the last time I did was July 7th.
