why i cant sleep..........

`unspoken
`my weight
`my job
`my faith
`my desire for a new house
`my relationships
`my family
`my foot surgery


what God has to say about all of it......

`repent, I will forgive and deliver you
`same as above (lol)
`seek and you shall find
`trust Me
`trust Me
`trust Me
`I am working on it
`it will be done in the right season


I was having a great deal of difficulty getting to sleep. My poor mind was racing a mile a minute. I have been really down and very anxious about many things that are going on in my life. I am facing many decisions and unknowns. I took a warm bath and was lead to write down all that was on my mind. I wrote it somewhere else first, but wanted to share it here too.

I am glad that I have Him to turn to. To lean not on my own understanding, but to have him make my paths straight. I am at peace again. I can finally get some sleep!!!!

    those sleepless nights are always the worst on our minds aren't they? I used to wake up in panic attacks, thank God I have been delivered from them! It helps me to listen to praise music, or read my devotional or bible when my mind is racing like that! Then my soul and mind are filled with Gods music and words and my heart is calmed in the midst of the storm that was brewing in my mind! I know that he hears your prayers and your cries out to him; and he is answering you! look, you are listening! you are such a bright light in the world, and beacon of faith. Thanks for letting me be part of your journey! you are doing great, and I know it will continue getting better for you. Remember HIS TIME, is the best time for it all!

    This must be the week for emoticon less nights for I too have not been able to sleep. But God says that he gives his beloved sleep.

    But one thing I do know Lori, is that God desires to give his children all good things. We just have to trust and have faith. That's all. Until he tells us more to do.

    Is there anything that I can do to help? If so just let me know please. I am also here for you too.

    Oh, Sweetie....I'm so sorry that you can't sleep! As I sit here at 3:30 am, from being up all night myself! Honey, I am here for you....You do know that, right? If you need to talk...PLEASE call me! I care about everything you are going through, and am right there with you...through it all!! What can I do to help you?
