One week

I made it through one week. I have to admit I made some mistakes, felt terrible a couple of the days but in the end I lost 3.5 pounds. My husband lost 9! Men can do that. I really think that the part of the week I felt bad was not as bad as I have heard. I have had worse hangovers! This week I will read the book a little better and read labels a little more and I think that will help. I read a great thing on the Internet this week that said if God made it eat it, if man made it stay away. Atkins to me pretty much. emoticon

    You are doing great! Just keep at it and the pounds will drop off. I lost over 100 lbs years ago and it was by following the Atkins Diet. I have learned that carbs are a real enemy of mine. I also know that if you make a carb mistake one day it isn't the end of the world (or your diet). Just keep giong and you will also start to feel better and have more energy. If I can be of any help just give me a holler!!!!!
