My week of watching everything I eat like a hawk emoticon, of getting on my treadmill everyday emoticon and strength training 3 times a week emoticon has paid off! I lost a whole pound this week!!! For the longest time I would loose a half pound then gain a pound and I was getting frustrated! I have also noticed that my clothes are a bit loose AND I even wore a bikini yesterday to Blizzard Beach. I may have blinded people when the sun reflected off of my super white skin, but I wore it proudly. I was a little bummed yesterday when everyone was eating ice cream emoticon or cookies or funnel cakes. But, boy am I glad I didn't cave! It showed on the scale this morning. I know that I could do even better if I would cut out some of my sweet items and a little more of the fat. I just don't want to feel like I can't eat anything "good" ever again. So, I will take a pound or so a week and be a happy camper.

On Saturday, my son's cub scout group is going ice skating. I am setting a goal to stay on the ice at least one hour to get a really good workout. BECAUSE... my dad plays in an Irish band on the weekends and this weekend they are at my favorite Irish Pub and I am going to have potato pancakes with sour cream and smoked salmon. AND I WILL NOT FEEL GUILTY!!!!!!

    Jennifer...what a great week you had! Congrats on your will power, persistence and your loss! Bet you dazzled them at Blizzard Beach....did you do Summit Plummet :).....

    You deserve to spoil yourself this weekend...remember anything in moderation. Enjoy!
