Why did I NOT stop myself?

I was so good today.....I had a Myoplex protein drink and then went on a 6.5 mile bike ride and did it in 40 minutes! I came home and had a half of a grapefruit and a whole wheat english muffin with a fried (in pam) egg. I then went to the grocery store to get some fried chicken for the kids (they had a play date) and I bought some brown rice sushi for myself. I age 8 pieces, 4 california an 4 with salmon. Then, I ate some skin of of a piece of chicken!!!!! I AM SO STUPID! I feel like everything I did today just went down the drain! I couldn't stay away from the nice cruncy skin, I shouldn't have bought it in the first place. Why didnt I just make them a nice healthy sandwich?

    OMG DO I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ??? I sabotoge myself like that all the time. That is one of my biggest obstacles ! I will start off really good in the am and then break down somewhere along the way and then hate myself and ask why ??? But, don't beat yourself up, just put that little thing behind you and keep moving forward. I think that the more we recognize those setbacks, the more we mentally aware we become of what we should and should not be doing. I am gonna just try to pull up a motivating mental picture in my mind when i am tempted. I know this is much easier said than done but, i think that it is a step in the right direction. Not even going near it or buying it, like you said is i good step also.
