Staying motivated

I have been feeling so in control. I did eat a little more this weekend because of going to my Cousins house on Saturday and my Mom's on Sunday. Neither one cooked low fat meals but I have to say I did way better than I would have 2 months ago. I Have been working out and just feel great. I know that I will have temptations and set backs and plateaus but right now I am not having any problems. emoticon

It is helping I am in a new room at work. I am in with someone now that has similar goals as me (she is already thin though). I used to be in a room with a lady that would bring donuts for me anytime she knew I was trying to watch what I eat. She is a heavier older woman that doesn't want anyone to be thin because she is not. She is also a very negative person. I am so glas to be away from the negativity.

    That's a great feeling, isn't it? It's empowering to know that you can and are making great choices because you WANT to! It helps a lot to be around people in real life who are concerned about healthy living as well. I've been around the saboteurs at work as's no fun.

    You don't have to worry about negativity at the gym. Just wait in a few months we will be in that kick boxing class. Ha! And we will actually look like we know what we are doing. Ha! I am really glad to hear you are feel so much better and feel in control. That helps me stay on track too.

    I am glad that you are finding positive motivation and encouragement. Negativity can really hurt even if we don't think it bothers us.
