A "God-incidence"

Sunday, July 20, 2008

Interesting thing happened at lunch. After church my daughter wanted to go to Arby's for lunch. I usually get one of their salads, which are quite good, however, today I thought "since I've been eating a little more over vacation, maybe I'll start eating well tomorrow and have a sandwich and some fries instead." So I ordered a chicken cordon-bleu which is delicious but well out of the range of what I should be eating for lunch. When we returned home I found that my sandwich was not put into the bag. So I made myself a chef salad, which is what I should've eaten all along! I called them and they're giving us free food next time we come but it stopped me from eating it now!

Glad God's watching out for me!

Yay, someone else who loves that word "God-incidence." It's "mine." No coincidences, not when they are awesome things from our Awesome God. I swear this is the truth, but I was on a "Cursillo" which is a lot like "Walk to Emmaus" if you've heard of that, and I told everyone that I called these things "God-incidences" and they all liked that so much. I had been doing that for a while. No one told me the word, I had just made it up, and then over time I have kept hearing it and hearing it. So I Love it when I hear it coz it just reminds me of what I called things all to myself forever and then finally told some people and now it's just out there. I think it's God . . . . that alot of people might have come up with the word, but now it's really out there. God is everywhere when you are looking for Him. Absolutely Everywhere. But if you don't . . well then . . . how can you find Him? BLessings, Robbie
