When I first joined SP, I had been tracking my food at another site on and off for years. I had invested a lot of time in entering custom foods and once custom foods were in, it was a pretty easy site to use. I had invested so much time there, I didn't want to switch over to SP's food tracker, because I thought it would just be repetitive having to enter food after food that wasn't in the data base..

Oh my, I was wrong. The other day I just started toying with the nutrition tracker...my goodness, everything in the world is in there!! And it is so darn easy to use!! I like tracking everything here, because it's all tied together for me (exercise, food, etc) and, once again, SP has shown itself to be way ahead of the curve.

So, another reason to say thanks to SP for making this journey to health just a little bit easier and more motivating... I had started falling back into some bad old habits, then last week decided I needed to ramp it up again. And I've dropped the couple of pounds in the last week that I'd gained over the previous several weeks...all thenks to re-dedicating myself to getting on this site every day, reading motivational posts, checking in with my teams... Oh, and thanks to all my fellow Sparkers, too, because, without even realizing it, many of you inspire me and make me feel at home..

I always say "SparkPeople is free, but the feeling is priceless". I not only lost my weight (slowly, but surely), coming here almost daily, but have been able to maintain with in a pound either way of goal (instead of the yoyo of five pounds either way) by coming here and continuing to participate on this site with tracking my food and exercise, and posting.

Wishing you continued success as you keep moving forward toward your healthier lifestyle goals. You can do it!
