Let's see... bloggin about fitness & health. I've blogged before, but it's mostly been on my MySpace & just about stuff in general going on in my life. Not to mention I knew the people reading it, so there was a sense of safety there.

I've been a member of SparkPeople since late March (well, according to the page, because I sure don't remember.) I had gone on daily for a little while & was tracking my food, but I we had dial-up at home at the time, and it took me FOREVER to add a meal. I kind of fell off the wagon there.

As far as workin out goes, I bought my boyfriend a gym membership for Christmas, and got one for myself at the same time. Well, the hard part for me on that was I'd either work out way too hard and be hurtin for days or not work out hard enough and not feel it the next day at all. So there goes my exercise wagon.

Food...well, I try to eat healthy most of the time. My bp is high so I've been trying to watch my sodium, and my dr/nurse practioner actually has me on a precription for it. My cholesterol also is high & I'm on a prescription for that, too. I HATED the fact I needed to go on meds for it. I just felt too young to be on medication. I'm only 27. Plus, the fact it's not as if I don't try. I don't really eat red meat, pastries, candy, or fried food. I've cut down on my soda a lot. I do have those meals where I do have ice cream after dinner or chips while I'm watching t.v.

T.V...yeah, that's another issue. Since I started my new job last June & my new schedule I've started watching t.v. WAY TOO MUCH. I hate it in general in the fact I could be reading a book or just being outside enjoying the outdoors. It's just become a habit. Here's to new habits, huh?
