I'm taking the day off.....................

I'm going out with my uncle on his new boat today. So i've decided I'm taking the day off, from worrying about counting my calories, etc. We are going to have a little cookout and I've already decided I'm going to allow myself to eat a big ol'cheeseburger. lol. I'll have to work extra heard tomorrow to work it off. But for today i've decided no worries, i've had enough to deal with the past week and my brain needs a break, its just my body will pay for it come tomorrow morning. But right now i'm Ok with that. Should I don't be??

It's calling for thunderstorms here, so i'm hoping we get to go out on the boat before the storms arrive.

Yeh, what Huggers said! HAHAHAHA! I do a cheat day, too, and it really does seem to help me. And I don't feel even a tiny bit guilty about it! Maybe I should, but I don't! Hasn't handicapped anything so far, and I never over-do it, but it's just so nice to get a little taste of what you haven't been able to have for awhile, seems worth it to me! Hope you beat the raindrops and had a great day out there on the water with your family, sounds like a whole lotta fun! emoticon

You can't totally deprive yourself of the foods you love! See how you feel after eating half the burger. Sometimes when you have made a change for a while... your body will tell you that you're done before you even finish the item. Have a great time!!

We had lots of storms here to. I am glad you have decided to take such a proactive stance on your day. I feel that way some days too and know that the next day I will just get in gear and take care of it. I allow myself a cheat day. Sometimes this actually helps to stimulate your metabolism and keep your body guessing.

Have a blessed day and enjoy. Tomorrow , go kick but :)
