To Weigh or Not to Weigh

So, since husband replaced old scale, I've been using his new one, which I have suspected for some time was a few pounds too low. Now he's moved that into a location that's more convenient for him in the morning (the stupid new one beeps loudly enough to wake me from the next room!). Great by me, EXCEPT that since I've been using the new one, going back to the old will make it look as though I've gained a few pounds. This should not bother me, but it does.

When I started counting calories and deliberately trying to lose weight. I decided that I would weigh myself no more often than 2 x week. BWAAAHAAAHAAAA! Two times per hour, try! On first waking, after coffee, after using the bathroom... I get important information this way./ I've learned that I can lose weight by taking a nap.

All in all, this weighing thing is driving me nuts! It leads to unhealthy obsession. I mean, what else can you call it when you weigh yourself on THREE DIFFERENT scales? If any two of them read the same, that's the weight you go by. Otherwise... what?.... pick the lowest? The highest? The average?

I swear I'm going to pack them all up and donate them to the Salvation Army!!!
