Blew it over the weekend....

So, straying from perfect eating on the 4th wouldn't have been too bad, but I was pretty good on the 4th. It was the rest of the weekendthat killed me!!!! I don't know what I was thinking. I couldn't even track my food, because I pretty much have no idea what all I ate!! I cannot seem to get my eating and weight loss back on track. I know what I need to do, but I keep letting things get in my way. You know what I'm talking about -- the husband wants to go out to eat, you don't say no, you plan to eat healthy but then order something not so good for you off the menu.

I have to put a stop to this or I will never reach my goal!

    I did that too, the 4th wasnt so bad, it was the leftovers that killed me the next day, but, water under the bridge. I hope you will just forgive yourself, LET IT GO and get back on track. So you messed up then, you can do good now. Accept your mistake and move forward as if it never happened. You can do this, just focus on your goal, not your mistakes and make today and tomorrow the best days ever.

    The weekend is over now! Can't continue to beat yourself up over it! This is a new week! emoticon

    YOU can do this and YOU can accomplish anything you set your mind too! I know YOU can!!

    I battled the same cause my hubby likes to go out to eat sometimes. And we still do! What I do now is I make up my mind before hand that I'm going to eat healthy. On Occasion I do eat something I wouldn't normally eat anymore. A lot of times I bring half or part home with me. I try to get tea or diet soda to drink. And if we splurge on a dessert usually share one! So I can still have the treat but not eating the whole thing by myself. Yet I can still go out with hubby! And he is happy too!

    If your going to splurge and you know when you go that you are going to make that choice, eat it then move on the next day which is a whole new day! Don't beat yourself up over your choices! Just get back on track!

    We will all have detours on this healthy lifestyle/weight loss journey! But we can find our way back on track too! Don't give up! Keep positive!

    I have SO been there. I've been there many times actually. I have a stick thin husband who can eat cookies and ice cream every night and still stay thin. It's so hard to get past all of that and make the right choices for yourself. You can do it though! I know how tough it is, but just keep your head up, and try to get back in the game. Stay positive!
