July Goals (a week late)

Seems like distractions have been abundent this year! The flooding was at the top of my excuse list for not following the guidelines I had set for myself in June. Now, it's time to rethink these goals and start over (yet again).

I have lowered my lbs/week goal from 2lbs to 1.5lbs. It seems more realistic. Therefore, starting today, I should be under 140 by the first week in August.

Goal#1 Eat no more then 1400 calories 5 days a week, and not more then 2000 calories the remaining 2 days.

Goal#2 Cardio 5 times a week; atleast 2 of those times needs to be at the gym, the other 3 times can be doing a variety of activities as long as I burn 300-500 calories each time.

Goal#3 Full body strength train atleast once a week, this will be accomplished most likely by attending a yoga class.

Reward#1 will be given once I reach 139lbs and will be a 1hr massage.

Reward #2 will be given once I reach 135lbs and will be a $100 clothing shopping spree.

Reward #3 will be given August 4th, if I have managed to stick to my program 90% or better even if I haven't lost any weight and will be a pedicure.

    I like your rewards too. Sometimes we can't control the scale, but we can always control our actions, so it's good to reward that. :)

    I like the idea of your third reward. Keeping up with the program (weight loss or not) SHOULD be rewarded! Hmmmm how I can I work this in?
