Doctor update

Ok so the doctor told me today that my culture reports came back . They say Heavy staph both breasts. Well ,I suppose this is going to take some time. Not what I wished for but I do feel better then I did last Friday. The doctor cleaned things up some more and they actually startedto look normal. They even re getting softer , which is good I'm told. The infection had them pretty firm. The doctor also told me that the hospital was suppose to do something called sensitivity tests on the cultures. I guess they put different antibiotics with the culture to see what works and what doesn't against that particular staph . Well the hospttal threw the cultures out before they did the sensitivity tests. So I guess it is a walk in the dark now.

To top it all off , my oncologist told me that my CA125 is elevated. Not real high but high enough to redo the test in 4 wks. It actually tripled. But I did find out today that the staph can actually raise the results of the test. So now I feel better about it.

All in all things feel better and i'm not quite as depressed as I was. I'm just hoping that this doesn't take to long to get over with.
