Ugh. I hate my scale.

I know, I know, the scale means nothing and I should throw it away - but it does keep me on track and, well, I'm sort of addicted to its feedback.

Anywho, I'm hoping that today's little blip up (which actually hit yesterday) is hormonal - and my face breaking out just might provide the corroborating evidence I want. But, how frustrating is this?

*Last week up and down between 135.6 and 134.2 on various days
*Friday at 135
*Sat., Sun., at 134.4, so got confidence to adjust ticker and declare goal (of 135) met.
*Monday - 136! (despite a pretty much normal eating/exercising day)
*Today - 135.6 (again, normal day yesterday)

I am thinking of keeping closer track of when my weight goes up and down for a couple of months, to see if I can find a hormonal pattern so it won't bother me so much. Any thoughts? Suggestions? (besides throwing away the scale - I'm not ready for that!)

    I hate your scale too and I have never met it :P

    I have to agree with Tres.B but say if you weigh your self more than once every month you are engaging in self-inflicted torture.

    Hugs emoticon I know what you mean, as this week i went up 8 and came down 5, possibly more by now. I am thinking weighing anymore than once a week is self inflicted torture.
    Focus on your healthy eating and activity and I have 100% faith you will remain where you want to be.

    I gained 2.5 pounds over night: I had some water issues, not enough yesterday, so I think that helped. I am not going to get discouraged as I know I am doing well. I wish I was your size though. :)

    HUGS to Blue, The scale is an evil wicked thing and can change drastically throughout the day! I am also a daily weigher, but I only count what the scale says one day a week, and that is the day I worry about.

    I weigh myself by how my clothes fit. I always chant to myself "Muscle weighs more than fat, muscle weighs more than fat". Sounds silly, I know. emoticon
