Back from Vacation

Well... I'm back from Greece. We've been back for 2 days and I'm getting right back on track. I've been tracking my food again and getting back to running 3 days a week.

I did my official weigh in today and I put on 2.5-3 lbs. So not too bad! As long as 1 of those pounds in gone by next week, I think I can deal with that. We went of 5 of the 6 runs I had scheduled while there... some of them weren't quite as long as they should have been, but we did A LOT of walking while sight seeing. I will say they were some of the most beautiful runs I've ever done! I'm not a person that normally enjoys running outside (I'm devoted to my treadmill with my TV and Tivo full of interesting shows in front of me), but now I see why people like it! If I had beautiful places like that to run in, I'd be out everyday!

I discovered that I LOVE greek food... espcially greek salad which I'm going to work on making a lower calorie version of now that I'm home (low fat feta... less olive oil). It was a great trip and I feel like I did an alright job maintaining this new lifestyle, while still having a good time and eating well!
