Whew...what a whirl wind of a weekend! Is this what missionary life is always like? Mike and I are very simple people with 'slow' lives. We love the part of African culture that is so laid back. (Though it can be frustrating too.)

I am feeling so blessed. I watched the lifehouse video again on YOUTUBE. It is a human drama. The main female character is so very much my life story! It brought a flood of tears and a heart so thankful for the grace of Jesus Christ!!!!

My Son is off to a college preview overnighter. As the time approaches, it saddens my heart to send him off to school. And when I think down the road to us being in Malawi and him here, I can hardly stand the thought...I will shed many tears. God will prepare me for that time...I don't have to worry over it now.

My daughter's wedding is Nov 15. That will be a day of celebration! school years. She is our 'prodigal' the Lord has really worked on her, and she is doing so well.

I lost 2.2 pounds this week. I didn't expect that really. My eating has not been that great. Yet, I have increased my exercise. Also, the beginning of the week I was ill, I am sure that aided in that as well.

So...my life...is good. I feel blessed. The hard thing is remembering how blessed I am when things are not looking so great...but that's another day, and another blog...

Hope you can take some time to slow down now. My son is home now after 9 months of college in the USA. It is hard, but God does give grace.

Yes! and No! Sometimes missionary life is so wild and crazy you don't know what to do first. But it's good, too. Saying good-bye is hard as well. Thanks for your recent friendship. I'll be praying for you lots in the days to come.
