6/2/08 - Feeling very "make it happen" today

I feel good. I feel empowered. Nothing has really changed since last week. I just feel like I'm really on my game today.

I worked out today as usual for a Monday. I set a goal to up my weight for some of my strength training for the month of June. My legs are stronger than my arms for some reason. It's always been this way. I had no trouble at all bumping that up a notch. I'm going to have to do some research on continuing to work the muscles without looking like the chick who works the same machines at the same time I do. The arms, I barely changed the weight on those exercises, but I could feel it. I was cursing myself for doing it. I had to talk myself into doing both sets for the full amount of reps. (I usually do 15 reps, but I almost stopped at 12 because my guide says "12-15 reps". But I did it. I also did a little aerobic workout. I did my best time yet! Not by a lot, but better than I ever had before.

Before I forget, I want to thank everyone who comments on my blog. I'm not quite sure of the etiquette. On the one hand, I feel I should reply back to everyone. On the other hand, I don't want to get into one of those cycles that ends up being a lot of back and forth of "no, thank *you*". I do appreciate each and every one of the comments made (at least so far - no one has been anything but supportive to this point). Thank you, all.
