OK, full discolosure - I don't really have a nightstand. I love to read, though, and have lots of fitness books and others that are particular favorites. Reading a good book is just the thing to keep me inspired - or just distracted from the fridge! Here are some to check out if you are looking for a good read:

I am also currently reading Soon to be a Major Motion Picture by Donna Partow, and doing a group Bible study called Believing God by Beth Moore. Being physically fit is not of much use if my spirit is a mess!
Two of my favorite novels are: Cold Sassy Tree by Olive Ann Burns and A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving. I also recently re-read To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
