Checkin' In

Well, TOM's here. Up 4 pounds in 2 days. Unbelievable. Here I am eating better and exercising again and I'm up. I do know, however, that this is me. It's how I work. Give it a week.

I went to the pool with the kids (for a birthday party) and although I look 100% better than I did last summer, I'm not happy with how I look. The lack of exercise for that 3 weeks has definately taken it's toll... I may not have gained much weight back, but my buttocks are jigglin' and my legs aren't as toned (never mind my arms) as they were. All in good time. I've got 8 weeks of summer and not a day of it will be wasted!

Today I did my cardio workout (still getting back into the swing - not able to do a mile again, yet), went swimming with the kids (swam across the pool with C several times - not serious exercise, but not sitting either) and planted and planted in the garden. Again, not serious exercise, but not sedentary. Pretty good along with 1600 calories. tomorrow I'm working core again - hope I don't feel it as much as last week!
