Had some chocolates today, but instead of getting all worked up about it, I said to myself "I'm glad I ate them" and by doing this I didn't feel the need to eat any more. Normally I would feel so bad that I'd go back and eat some more, not sure if I do this because I want to punish myself or because I'm using the food to make myself feel better. But by accepting the indulgence as a good thing it stopped that cycle of overindulgence. I think I might be on to something with this!
