My Reality...

I just finishes reading Coach Nicole's message about weight loss vs decrease in measurements...then I come across the justification of the bootcamp's video difficulty. Apparently there must have been complaints.

I want to say how liberating it was for me that I am able to do most of the workouts she has assigned. When I joined the group I was not exercising at all with any regularity and was easily discouraged that most workouts were unaccessible to me, because I lacked the stamina and fitness level.

Exercise is such a large hurdle when making these lifestyle changes. I don't look good working out. And I feel clumsy and awkward. Why pretend, but I do feel better when I have managed to exercise and have found my body has toned up some and I am wearing smaller clothing.

    You are doing great. I really feel the measurements are the most important. I can be down only a few pounds but down a whole size. Exercise is the key for me. You are doing great!

    Just stopping by to say everything is going great. I should be able to go back to work June 12th. Keep up the good work. I will be very glad when I can exercise again. emoticon

    Hey Penny!

    Just wait til you reach your goal and look back at how your fitness level changed over the course of your journey. I'm 78 pounds overweight now, but I've done this weightloss thing before. When I reached my weight last time, I looked back and smiled at how out of shape I was in the beginning and how little I could do when following a video.

    I just thank God that we can exercise at home and not have to be out in public somewhere. Keep up the good work!

    I think exercise, like a lot of things in life, takes practice. The great thing about videos, is that you can do them in the privacy of your home, and not worry about how you look. The important thing is that you try! I still feel clumsy and awkward at times, but even though my technique isn't perfect, I can tell that exercise is really helping to relieve the arthritis pain in my legs.

    super congrats on your results so far!! i think that most of us feel awkward about our body when exercising, no matter what our goals are... the great thing is that you are doing it anyway and making wonderful progress. keep it up!!!
