I actually did it....

As usual I was so tempted last night to crack open that bag of doritos and just chow down, but I didn't! Late night snacking is my downfall. I usually am not even hungry, I just want to munch and worst thing is I had just got done working out and I would have eaten back the calories I had just burned and then some. I didn't realize I could tell myself no, and get away with it! It sure does feel good.

    Nice job! It's not always easy to stand up to yourself but it helps when you take the time to think about what the craving really is. Most of the time I realize I'm thirsty, not hungry. I'm also really bad about snacking when I'm bored or upset so I try think about how I'm feeling to see if that's influencing my appetite. If I drink water and I feel good mentally but I'm still hungry, I'll go update my nutrition info for the day. Some times I'll find that I'm actually below my lower limit for the day and I'm probably legitimately hungry.
