i decided i am going to compete in tkd again. there is a small local tournament that i have been asked to do which i will participate in next sunday--wish me luck!

as far as the bigger tournaments go, i would like to fight in qualifiers and nationals, but i am going to wait to see what my new instructor advises. i do not expect that he would go to those, so i would effectively have to fight w/o a coach if i went. i have until the 15th to register for the first portion of that. my family & friends are on board, but i am not going to set my heart on it w/o having full support and approval from everyone involved. any competition i do from now on, i must take pride in and do for the fun of it that i lost somewhere along the way...i know fighting with people who are trying to hurt you for "fun" must sound strange!

anyhow, the leg is still smarting from sunday's ungraceful bath tub dismount. it feels "hot" and i am keeping an eye on it the next couple days to see if i may need to take antibiotics. hard to tell if it just hurts really really bad or is starting to get infected.

eating right, exercise, life in general are really positive right now and i feel very motivated and healthy emoticon
i am very happy with my muscle tone/appearance, strength and endurance, and as i continue to hone my body, it will only get better. results are the BEST motivation!!!

thanks, anna! yes--i think i can do it w/o overtraining problems and am just going to fight at my natural weight--i feel really positive about this. i am also very happy that all the time and commitment of the people who have helped me not to mention my own time and effort will not go to waste.
