Receiving the news that I had breast cancer was the most overwhelming and terrifying experience I have had in a very long time. Thanks to our loving God's merciful and restraining hand, it has not spread to other parts of my body. Throughout all the testing, God put people in my path to pray for and encourage me. Spark friends, I don't know how to thank you for the prayers and reassurances you offered. You are wonderful! Thank you so much.

Roxanne, so very sorry to hear about your news. I have had several friends deal with breast cancer lately so I've seen what an emotional drain it can be. The one thing I've learned from these ladies is that reaching out to others really does help. It's also the harder part of love -- receiving instead of giving. Women especially want to be the nurturers and givers; now it's your time to be the receiver. Let us know how things are going and how we can pray -- it really will help!

Roxanne.... Keep God with you.... as it sounds like you are.... He'll take care of you. I had cancer of the uterus in 2003.... had a total hysterectomy & have been cancer free for 5 years now!!! The best news is your cancer has not spread. That is excellent news. I'll put you on my prayer list. Hang in there. (((((Hugs))))) Marla

emoticon Roxanne, sorry to hear about your breast cancer. I hope everything is going well. I had Ovarian cancer diagnosed 4 yrs ago. I t is devastating. I came out well tho' . I still go every 3 months to see a doctor and I always am waiting for the other shoe to fall. I don't dwell on it anymore coz' I could make myself crazy. I figure I'll deal with it if and when it happens. Keep your chin up and know there are alot of people praying for your recovery. emoticon
